Woke up to the bright sun peeking through on a frosty December morning in Seattle, Washington? Rare for this time of year in our usual rain forest. What a boost of energy from the gray, especially with seasonal fruit and vegetable vitamin C packed smoothie! ?
Ingredients
- 1 cup plain kefir or plain Greek yogurt
 - 1 cup orange juice or 2 whole peeled large oranges
 - 1.5 cup ice
 - 1 large frozen banana
 - 1 cup whole fresh cranberries
 - 1-2 inch piece fresh peeled ginger (more if you like)
 - 2 handful of spinach, kale or other greens
 - 1 yellow squash
 
Directions
- Blend all ingredients in vitamin or powerful blender on “smoothie” setting.
