Phenomenal garlicky vegetable side to accompany any main dish! No, they’re not french fries…haha
Fresh from the farmer’s market these wax beans are fantastic. Of course, you can switch the butter for olive oil. In recipes, I often opt for coconut oil, but in this case, I choose butter hands down for flavor! This recipe can be made with traditional green beans of course too.

Ingredients

  • 2 pounds wax beans (or green beans)
  • 3 cloves garlic crushed
  • 3 Tbs butter
  • Parsley to garnish
  • Sea salt to taste

Directions

  1. Steam rinsed beans in about 1 cup water in a saucepan until tender (5-7min).
  2. In a skillet melt butter and garlic on medium-low heat, so garlic becomes tender but not burned or bitter. Stir as needed.
  3. Then toss in drained cooked green beans and sprinkle with salt and chopped parsley to garnish!
